
After a glass or four of wine Christmas Eve, I casually asked my grandmother if she was making ambrosia for Christmas dinner. A couple of summers ago, I stayed with her for a week and she made this for me almost every day. She came up to my parents house with a solid ton of this stuff. It tastes like the 50’s.
I ate this for a week after Christmas. It’s freaking good.
My Nana’s Ambrosia
1 large tub lowfat cottage cheese
1 tub fat-free Cool-Whip
1 package sugar free jello, any flavor
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
maraschino cherries, for garnish
